March 30, 2009: Traylor & Associates President, Gary Traylor, appeared today in Austin before the Senate Committee for Agriculture and Rural Affairs to give comments in support of Senate Bill 1988, proposing the creation of a $10 million State-funded Texas Rural Investment Fund to promote economic development in cities under 50,000 in population and counties under 200,000. SB 1988 is the Senate version of HB1911 introduced by State Representative Carl Isett. The Senate was sponsored by Senators Craig Estes (Wichita Falls) and Glenn Hegar (Katy).
