At Traylor and Associates, we have tried to develop a uniform method for determining fees that is easy to calculate, and produces a fee that is commensurate with our duties and level of responsibility. A fee is only assessed in the event that an application prepared by the firm results in the award of grant funds. If a grant application is not successful, we charge nothing.

If a TCDP grant application prepared by our firm is approved, we charge a standard fee, which is generally 10% of total project cost.

Fee Minimum $15,000
Fee Maximum $40,000

Also, our period of service on a project does not control our fixed fee, so if a project is delayed and stretches a year or more beyond its original schedule, we do not assess additional fees.

For our standard fee, our clients are also entitled to receive all of our grant management services. The services include the following service categories:

  1. Project Management & Reporting
  2. Financial Management
  3. Equal Opportunity / Fair Housing
  4. Environmental Review
  5. Property Acquisition Process
  6. Contracts and Procurement
  7. Labor Standards Enforcement
  8. Audit Assistance & Project Closeout
Our administrative duties include accounting and filing system set-up and maintenance; environmental review and assessment preparation; real property acquisition services,; labor standards examination and enforcement, fair housing activities documentation and EEO compliance; general progress reporting; document creation, tracking, and filing; attendance at pre-construction conferences, final public hearings, and State monitoring visits; project close-out and compliance issue resolution; and general coordination and oversight.
