Repair or Replacement of Single Family Dwellings
This program provides funds for the rehabilitation of single family homes. This program includes, roof repair or replacement, electrical system and plumbing repairs. After the construction is completed, the homes must meet Texas Minimum Construction Standards. In order to qualify for this program, an individual must own and reside in their home. Rent houses are not eligible.

Sometimes, a home may not be repairable. In those instances, a home may be demolished and replaced by a "stick-built" or a manufactured home.

Please note this program is not available statewide. Nonprofit entities, for profit entities, and units of local governments apply for these funds and then distribute them to qualified individuals and families in their areas.
