Christina joined the GRT staff in April of 2002. She graduated with honors from Southwest Texas State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Planning. Ms. Laktas is bilingual and has environmental and planning experience via a variety of positions throughout the United States. She has worked as a Geographic Information System Assistant with the City of Austin, Texas, and as a Natural Resource and Environmental Specialist for the Mojave National Preserve, in Barstow, California. Ms. Laktas has also worked as a Field Biologist for Southern Nevada Environmental, Inc. and as a Restoration Ecologist for the Bureau of Land Management in Las Vegas, Nevada.
