STAPLES ANNOUNCES RAILROAD ADVISORY PANEL

As part of the ongoing effort to keep the Texas State Railroad running, state Sen. Todd Staples announced Thursday who will serve on the Texas State Railroad Advisory Committee.

The committee members will serve as consultants to the local Texas State Railroad Preservation Task Force, which is aimed at keeping the financially strapped railroad running, possibly by finding a private operator
