Groundbreaking - Windham Center

Congressman Louie Gohmert joined Mayor John D. Windham, other city, county and chamber officials in the ground breaking ceremony of the John D. Windham Civic Center.
Local funds combined with Federal Funds provided through a grant secured by Traylor & Associates working with the City mean that portions of the center will be able to withstand Class V hurricane force winds as a shelter while enabling the city to host civic, public and private events on a daily basis.
