TRAYLOR selected by ORCA

The Texas Office of Rural Community Affairs has selected GARY R. TRAYLOR & ASSOCIATES, INC. to receive a contract as an Environmental Services Provider of Disaster Recovery Applications.
"Our firm is pleased to have met ORCA's qualifications for this work, and to have submitted a proposal that ORCA considered advantageous", firm President Gary Traylor remarked after learning of the company's selection.
Twenty-nine companies submitted proposals in response to ORCA's solicitation. Of that number twenty-one (21)firms were determined "qualified" by ORCA. Of that number, ORCA selected eight (8) firms, including TRAYLOR and ASSOCIATES, with whom to negotiate a contract. "We were selected due to the advantageous terms we proposed", said Traylor. "As a firm with 35 years experience in the field, we have always tried to provide our customers with the best possible service at the lowest possible cost. I believe this is validated by ORCA's selection of the firm to help them in this important role".
As an Environmental Service Provider, Traylor will be responsible for satisfying requirements of the National Environmental Policies Act that must be satisfied before ORCA can release Hurricane Recovery funds for actual use. Although some activities may be exempt from NEPA or categorically excluded from normal investigation, a sizable number of hurricane recovery projects will require some form of Environmental Assessment. Traylor said his firm has been advised to be ready to perform Environmental Services for as many as 300 projects.
"We have to be ready to work quickly", Traylor added. "ORCA will expect us to complete each of the assigned assessments within 90 days, barring extenuating circumstances."News Archive >> |
